The Canadian Home Builder’s Association of British Columbia presented Tidman Construction with its highly regarded Georgie Award for Excellence in Customer Service by a Builder, and Tidman Construction has also earned the Urban Development Institute’s Award of Excellence.

During our very first meeting with Andrew Tidman of Tidman Construction at our newly purchased property, we were impressed by his enthusiasm and positive attitude. Andrew and his colleague, Vicki, were fantastic help during the design phase. They guided us through the selection of the fittings, fixtures and finishing and ensured that we chose appropriate quality materials, were faithful to the design style and kept within budget. We also felt that merchants and suppliers had great respect for Andrew and were proud to be associated with the Tidman brand.
When we visited the site during construction, the tradesmen and construction personnel seemed highly competent, professional and customer focused. Again, we detected a sense of pride from the building crew to be part of a Tidman project. Subsequent to moving into our home we had visitors with interior design experience who remarked positively on the quality of the workmanship in our home.
We were working outside of the country during the design and construction of our home. Andrew and the team were great at keeping us informed on progress through telephone calls, a photo blog and later a video of the completed home. Our distance from the project required us to place our trust in the Tidman team. We feel that this trust was amply rewarded. We had and have full faith in the integrity of the Tidman team. From our own experience, we feel that the strong reputation of Tidman Construction is fully deserved and is recognized and admired by other people in the industry. We would not hesitate to recommend Tidman Construction to anyone wishing to build their dream home. The support does not end once the house is finished. Tidman Construction is a family run business and it shows in the care you get before, during and after the build.
